Shoah Conference

The MU Film Studies Program is proud to present "The Invention of Testimony: Claude Lanzmann's Shoah in the Twenty-First Century" from Friday, November 13 to Saturday, November 14. For more information, see here.

This semester,

documentary filmmaker Robert Greene is teaching The History of Documentary Film. Greene has been celebrated by local press after the debut of his film Actress at True/False earlier this year.

The Citizen Jane Film Festival

is coming to Columbia next month (Oct. 22-25). Founded by Stephens College, the second oldest women's college in the country, Citizen Jane "celebrates independent film by independent women." For more information, see the festival website here.
